Liffey Meats Wind Turbine Erected

Construction of the Liffey Meats wind turbine is finally complete.

Once operational this Enercon-101 wind turbine will supply electricity to the adjacent Liffey Meats factory.  Click on the time-lapse video below to view the construction of the wind turbine.

Located in Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan, Liffey Meats employs over 400 people in its factory. This project has been a number of years in development and will now move onto the energisation phase which is hoped to be completed in  a number of weeks. GES provided owner’s engineer services on behalf of Liffey for this project and was a key member in bringing this to fruition.
